LIFE AS A FISH

Here we have the HD Super Wide Angle Panoramic Macro Fisheye Lens ($25 + additional shipping). I ordered it off of amazon out of curiosity and I've always been interested to see how a fisheye lens works. My first thoughts when I got this in the mail was that for the price, you get exactly what you pay for (cheap quality), especially considering that a professional fisheye lens runs in the neighborhood of ATLEAST $700 and up. To my surprise it, it is pretty decent considering its just a filter. The quality was pretty good, and figuring out the lens itself was entertaining. Here's a couple of samples of the work I've done with it.
As you can see, all the above pictures have a ring around what I was trying to capture. One of the cons I'd say about this is if let too much light enter the filter, the rings that are supposed to remain black start to get white around the edges (as you can see in the picture with the flower). It's a bit of a challenge to get the picture with just the right amount of light in it, but I personally love the challenge. Bottom-line, it was money well spent, and I'd recommend it to anyone who has a Nikon SLR camera (note* read the description about what type of lens it could fit onto before purchase). Let me hear what you guys think, and Godspeed to you all!
