One of my favorite and most frequently used piece of equipment is the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 50mm lens (ranges from $180-$250). I bought this device based off recommendations I was given about its quality and functions. This macro lens is perfect for doing things such as close up shots, and portrait pictures. it specifies in giving a crisp sharpened look to whatever you may want to focus on as well as blurring out everything else in a perfect balance (as seen in picture 1 and 2). Its also capable of taking pictures without taking away the sharpness of anything in the picture(as seen in picture 3 and 4).
